West Virginia DUI Tuck Wreck Leads to $2.69 Million Jury Award for Victims | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

The families of four people were lost their lives in a drunk driving truck wreck won a $2.69 million verdict in their lawsuit stemming from the West Virginia (WV) crash, according to insurancejournals.com.

The at-fault driver that caused the fatal crash while driving a pickup truck stolen from a dealership that hit another pickup head on. All four occupants in second pickup truck were killed.

Our firm is very happy that the families of the innocent victims were able to get some semblance of justice in this terrible truck crash. Obviously, no amount of money will equate to the loss of a loved one, but it does send a message to all drivers that they should think twice about getting behind the wheel of a car or truck after drinking.
