Woman Dead After Three-Car Accident in Henry County, Virginia | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Virginia Bolton was a passenger in her friend’s 1994 Ford Taurus when her friend, Virginia Loggins (driver of the Taurus), failed to yield properly and slammed into a Chevrolet pickup truck. A 2003 Mitsubishi also got entangled in the accident.

Virginia Bolton died at the scene and Virginia Loggins and the other two drivers were injured, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

My sympathies go out to Mrs. Bolton’s friends and family. As an injury lawyer who regularly handles car accident cases, the ramifications of these wrecks can be devastating.

Virginia Loggins was cited for failure to yield by Virginia (VA) police. Mrs. Bolton’s family should consider filing a wrongful death claim against Mrs. Loggins insurance company. This accident could have been avoided. If better judgment had been applied, maybe Mrs. Bolton would still be with us.
