Woman Killed While Crossing Busy Charlotte NC Roadway | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A 73-year-old woman died as a result of being hit by a Suzuki Forenza on Milton Road in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC). Medical authorities transported her to Carolina’s MedicalCenterwhere she later died from severe internal injuries from the accident. According to WBTV 3, the at-fault driver remained at the scene and was given a traffic citation for driving without a license.

The victim was actively petitioning for a crosswalk on the very road where she was hit. Her family is going to continue her efforts after they have had time to grieve. We send our deepest sympathies to the family.
