Although construction work is known as a high-risk industry, this does not negate employer responsibility when it comes to adhering to safety rules and regulations. Construction workers have the right to work in a reasonably hazard-free environment and employers have the legal responsibility to do everything possible to prevent accident and injuries from occurring.
