My colleague Rick Shapiro has written about a recent settlement for a bike rider who was hit by a car and suffered a traumatic brain injury. The bicyclist suffered memory loss, headaches and cognitive difficulties after the accident and was forced to go on disability from his job. The settlement was worth $3 million.
