Firm attorney Richard N. Shapiro (speaker in photo) was invited again to speak at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) annual convention legal seminars.
The AAJ is the largest nationwide group of civil trial attorneys, and Rick was asked to deliver a lecture on new techniques involved in conducting a corporate representative deposition.
In many types of personal injury cases, it is important to conduct the deposition of a company’s representative to determine the company’s position on various subjects.
Rick discussed using computers and PowerPoint slideshows in connection with conducting these depositions and gave various examples from his previous cases. The annual convention was held in Chicago Illinois between July 27 and August 1, 2012.
This is not Rick’s first seminar. In fact, Rick has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences on important personal injury and other legal topics.
