Attorney Talks Foreign Manufacturers and Dangerous Product Recalls | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

My colleague wrote about the disturbingly high percentage of product recalls from foreign manufacturers. A prime example is the toxic Chinese drywall plaguing residents in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, along with people across the country. Congress is trying to tackle the problem with a new bill that would require foreign manufacturers to have a registered agent in the U.S. who can accept complaints from attorneys representing injured victims.
