Attorney Talks About Role Trial Lawyers Play in Keeping Consumers Safe

Some people believe the misconceptions about lawyers and consider them to be "ambulance chasers." This is far from the truth. The Supreme Court recently said "tort suits" (i.e. personal injury litigation) can help spur new regulatory action. The efforts of trial lawyers played a role in railroad companies improving their safety conditions and dramatically limiting the exposure of their employees to asbestos.
