Firm attorney Rick Shapiro represented a railroad worker who lost his battle with lung cancer after being exposed to diesel exhaust fumes, radioactive scrap, and asbestos while working for CSX railroad. Rick represented the railroad worker and battled CSX for over four years. The case eventually resulted in an $8.6 million jury verdict. The American Association of Justice, one of the most prestigious plaintiff’s attorney organizations, featured Rick’s legal battle in their June 2011 edition of “Experts and Evidence.”
