Injured CSX Rail Worker Appeals Jury Award, Receives Larger Reward | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A CSX rail worker suffered serious injuries that could affect his quality of life for years to come. The jury’s decision on this FELA case failed to provide any compensation for future pain and suffering. The worker decided to appeal and he made the right choice. On appeal, the court decided this was outrageous and increased the worker’s reward to compensate for future injury issues.
