Lake George Boating Accident Leads to Child Fatalities | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

According to the Orlando News, three children were killed in a boating accident when a 21-foot vessel capsized due to a severe storm front that came through Lake George in Florida on Sunday May 24.  The children were trapped inside the cabin of the capsized vessel.  One of the children was rushed to the Orlando hospital but died shortly thereafter. All of the children were wearing life jackets at the time of the accident. Authorities said the storm came without warning and was so severe that they received reports about three other boating accidents in the area involving a total of 29 people.
