Our firm is participating in an important charity event in Virginia Beach, Virginia (VA) – the Promise Places Plane Pull. It’s called a plane pull because that’s literally what takes place. During the event, teams will compete by pulling a 35,000 pound WWII B17 Bomber. Each team is limited to 12 adults.
The mission of Promise Places is to provide supervised residential houses in a neighborhood setting, designed to promote the maximum growth for adults with mild to moderate mental disabilities. Each resident is encouraged to lead the most productive and independent lifestyle achievable. They will receive life-skills training and will be assisted in finding appropriate employment based on their abilities. Furthermore, we strive to educate parents and families of special needs children, and our entire community, on planning for future generations.
