My colleague Rick Shapiro published an article in the Legal Examiner discussing the need for autopsy reform and the rights afforded to loved ones. Rick mentioned the fact that our firm has worked on several cases where families have desired a private autopsy. State laws are confusing and answers are very difficult for families to obtain.
