Coal Truck Hits Ambulance on West Virginia 83, Kills Driver | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

An accident between an ambulance and a coal truck in McDowell County, West Virginia (WV) led to a loss of life. The wreck occurred on West Virginia 83 when the driver of the coal truck crossed the center lane and hit the ambulance killing the ambulance driver.

According to The Charleston Gazette, there was no passenger in the ambulance at the time of the accident.
Our deepest condolences go out to the ambulance driver’s family and loved ones. Losing a loved one is never easy, but the pain is exacerbated when the loss is sudden.
