In his latest post to our firm's Norfolk, VA Car & Truck Car & Truck Accident Injury Lawyers blog site, my colleague John C. reports on several near-miss pedestrian accidents along the just-opened Tide light rail tracks in the city. John notes that while pedestrians, especially those who have had too much to drink, have a responsibility to protect themselves when walking near or crossing train tracks, rail operators and track owners share an equal, if not greater, responsibility for controlling track access and providing and maintaining safe crossings.
