Suffolk, VA Accident Leaves Pedestrian Dead

Comments (0)
Accounts of the accident differ, but the outcome of the collision between a car and a pedestrian on E. Pinner Road at around 9:30 m on April 23, 2012, is undeniable: A 22-year-old man lost his life.

The driver of the car told police she hit the man as he ay in the roadway. The victim's family members have reported speaking to him at around 10 minutes after the crash was first reported. Authorities continue to investigate. Family and friends grieve. A driver who currently faces no charges no doubt remains remorseful and shocked.

Regardless of what the investigation reveals about how the fatal pedestrian accident occurred, the sad incident serves to remind both people on foot and individuals behind the wheel to always be on the lookout for each. As Virginia personal injury and wrongful death attorneys who have represented many victims of pedestrian crashes, we know "I never saw them" often comes up in depositions from both the injured person and the driver. It's never an acceptable excuse.
