Sunken Train Tracks Pose Serious Dangers | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Maintaining safe railroad crossings is a primary responsibility for any rail company. My colleague Randy Appleton notes in his latest post to the Norfolk Injuryboard that CSX is not fully meeting this responsibility because it has repeatedly delayed making repairs to a sunken crossing on Rt. 17 in York County, Virginia (VA). When train crossing fall below the level of the roadbed, drivers face multiple risks, ranging from rear-end collisions to becoming stuck on the tracks. I join Randy in urging CSX to fixing the sunken crossing as quickly as possible.
