Virginia Tech Student Hit and Seriously Injured By Car While Riding Bike | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

What Happened:

A biker was struck by a car at a crosswalk on Prices Fork Road near Turner Street at Virginia Tech University in Montgomery County, Virginia (VA). The police stated that the biker was flown by helicopter to a Roanoke, VA hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was charged with driving without a driver’s license and for failure to yield, according to Collegiate Times.
