Wreck in Fairfax Results in Death of Passenger, Serious Injuries

Comments (0)
A 1999 Dodge Neon was traveling down Hilltop Road in Fairfax, Virginia (VA) when a police officer pulled the vehicle over. The driver of the Neon was apparently intoxicated since the officer was planning to charge him with DWI. That's when chaos ensued.

The driver tried to flee the DWI arrest by driving off. The driver wound up running off the road and crashing into a tree, according to wjla.com.

The consequences of the wreck were tragic. A passenger that was in the vehice lost his life and another passenger had to be taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Below is a news report on this awful Fairfax accident:

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of the passenger who lost his life in this terrible wreck. Losing someone you love is never easy, but it is especially heartbreaking when the loss is sudden and completely unexpected.

We also send out words of encouragement to the passenger who suffered serious injuries and is in the hospital receiving treatment. Hopefully he will have a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, many victims of seirous injuries are forced to spend weeks, even months, recovering from the trauma of the wreck.
