Motorcycle accidents are in the category of personal injury
. Accidents take place when, by mistake or without intent, a person departs from the conduct expected of a reasonably prudent person acting under similar situations.

Even though criminal charges have been filed against the driver for not obeying traffic laws and causing the death of the motorcyclist, the family or friends of the motorcyclist might have to file a wrongful death case against the man in order to recover the damages they have suffered. The death of a loved one is a life-altering event that may never fully be put behind. It is troubling to think that, in a split second, the motorcyclist’s life ended forever.
