The Virginia Personal Injury Lawyers’ Perspective
When a driver crosses the center line they become a wrong way driver. There are many wrong way driver accidents every year that occur for a variety of reasons. Bad weather may have been a factor of this accident but it is likely the reckless driving of the Honda driver was the cause. Drivers who do not maintain a safe speed for bad weather conditions can lead to the most devastating accidents. As experienced Virginia (VA) car accident attorneys, we know just how serious not taking proper precautions can be. In this type of accident I strongly recommend obtaining the services of a Virginia (VA) car accident injury lawyer. If the investigation determines the accident was caused by the driver on part of the Honda traveling at a high rate of speed, he can be found to have acted negligently. If negligence is proven the families of the two passengers who were killed as well as the driver of the Audi will be able to pursue compensation for their loss. The Audi driver will be able to pursue medical expenses and lost wages if his injuries cause him to miss any time from work. The families of the passengers of the Honda who died will be able to pursue wrongful death claims. Through a wrongful death claim they will have the opportunity to be compensated for mental anguish, loss of solace, lost income, services, protection, care and assistanceas, well as possible pain and suffering.
