She hit a van first, causing it to flip; then she hit another car. The van driver was transported to VCU Medical Center. We hope that this victim has a quick and complete recovery. No one in the second car reported being injured. The woman who failed to stop was charged with disregarding a red light.

For those involved in the accident who did not think they were injured, please keep in mind that some injuries caused by car wrecks may appear at a later time. If you begin to not feel right, don’t hesitate to see a doctor and let him or her know you were in a car accident. If you find you have been injured, contact a Virginia car accident attorney to review the facts and determine if a claim or lawsuit should be filed.

This information from an experienced VA personal injury attorney will explain several situations you may encounter when involved in a car accident in Virginia.
