What Happened:

The sheriff’s office in Culpeper County, Virginia continues to investigate the death of a pedestrian, who was slammed into by a deputy’s patrol car traveling at 70 miles per hour.

According to media reports, the deputy was responding to a medical emergency call when his car slammed into the woman on U.S. 29. Witnesses to the accident stated that the woman was wearing dark clothing, and the police car’s emergency lights were not activated.
