Can occupational therapy help a brain injury victim who suffers with mood swings? | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

Many victims of brain injuries experience emotional changes and mood swings. This is often caused by the victim being unable to do many of the same activities or tasks they could before the injury and now must rely on assistance from others. Occupational therapy can help those victims come up with different mechanisms for coping with these frustrations, as well as help the victim develop ways to do some of these tasks themselves.
