Woman Dies After Second Crash In Virginia Beach (VA) | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

According to an article in the Virginian Pilot, Faye Ann Hinton, 54 of Virginia Beach, VA, died after her 1996 Isuzu Trooper was struck from behind while she was checking under the hood of her vehicle.  According to Virginia Beach Police, Ms. Hinson was involved in a minor accident with another driver.  They exchanged information and the other motorist drove away.  When Ms. Hinson got back into her SUV, it would not start.  She got out of the vehicle to check the engine when her vehicle was struck from behind by a Ford F-150 pickup causing her SUV to run over her.  Ms. Hinson was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she died a few hours later.  The accident is still under investigation and charges could be filed against the motorist who struck her vehicle.
