Car Crash Kills Longtime North Carolina Elementary School Teacher | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

In November 2011, a New Hanover County, North Carolina (NC), elementary school teacher died due to injuries she suffered in a car accident. According to WWAY3, the wreck occurred not far from Laney High School when another driver crossed a center line and hit the teacher’s car. Moments later, a second vehicle struck the women’s car.

State police have charged the driver who first hit the teacher with misdemeanor death by vehicle, though troopers also stated that they did not believe alcohol or drugs were involved.

This wreck reminds us there are many drivers on the streets who fail to pay attention when they are on the road
