Our thoughts go out to the family of the victim of the April 29, 2012, crash.  It has been known for some time that our nation’s roads are far from safe for pedestrians.  Even those who are off on the side of the road are in very serious danger. Not only do they have to worry about people getting behind the wheel and driving drunk or just speeding or driving erratically, they have to worry about people driving while distracted. It takes only a moment of lapsed focus to leave your lane of travel. When that happens, you can head into oncoming traffic; you can run off the road and hit a guardrail, a ditch, a tree or, worse, a pedestrian.

We have helped many clients who came to us as a result of this same type of accident, whether they were injured themselves or they lost a loved one. The family of this victim may want to discuss their options with an experienced wrongful death lawyer.
