In his latest post to our firm’s Norfolk Injuryboard blog, my colleague John C. reports on how apparent distracted driving and failure to use seat belts or a child safety seat contributed to the severity of a head-on collision between and a van on a rural highway in southwest Virginia (VA). John concludes his post by writing, “If there is good that can come from the tragedy, I hope that it will prompt more people to drive attentively, more adults to use seat belts and more parents to properly use child safety seats in their vehicles.”
