Herndon Car Wreck Leads to Death of Teenager

A 19-year-old college student was killed while trying to push his disabled vehicle to the side of the road in Herndon, Virginia (VA). The victim was on his way to work at Red Robin when this accident happened. He was in the eastbound right lane of Leesburg Pike near Dranesville Manor Drive when he was hit by another vehicle, according to wusa9.com. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of the victim. Losing a child in a sudden accident is one of those tragedies no parent should have to endure, but unfortunately so many parents must struggle with this loss. The victim's parents remarked about their son's love of music, soccer and cooking.

The exact details of what caused this tragic accident remain unknown. Was the at-fault driver distracted? Was he speeding? We will have to wait and see what the accident report reveals.

Our firm understands the pain parents go through when they lose a child in an accident. For example, we represented a mother who lost her child in a car crash. To learn more, read this case result.
