One Fatal Car Crash Is One Too Many | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

My colleague Randy Appleton notes in his latest post to the Norfolk Injuryboard that traffic fatalities across the United States have declined for the fourth straight year. He also notes that the number of car crashes that result in one or people losing their lives is still far too high, pointing specifically to a rush hour accident in Newport News on Oct. 9 in which a 78-year-old woman was ejected from a passenger van and died on the scene. I agree with Randy that more must be done to ensure all drivers and passengers on our nation’s roads stay safe and alive.
