Car accidents are always tragic, especially when they claim a young soldier’s life. While not all accidents can be avoided, many can. In cases were you are a pedestrian on or near a roadway it is vital that you pay close attention to the traffic on the road. No matter the situation, it pays to remember that a car can turn on to a roadway in an instant. Do your best to stay far from the roadway itself, and if you must walk on the roadway keep your eye on traffic at all times.
