How do you get listed in the Best Lawyers publication?
First published in 1983, Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive annual peer-review survey. Millions of votes were cast by leading attorneys on the legal abilities of other lawyers in the same and related specialties. Because of the rigorous and transparent methodology used by Best Lawyers, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
The “Best Lawyers” designation is just one of many accolades these attorneys have received over the years. Randy and Rick are also recognized as “Super Lawyers” (Shapiro since ’10, Appleton since ’12) and they have achieved the “AV” Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, one of the most prestigious lawyer rating services in the country.
