Virginia Woman Suffers Head Injury In Hit-And-Run Accident | Shapiro, Washburn & Sharp

A 35-year-old Virginia woman was struck by a car while on vacation last week. Sharon Winn was walking in a crosswalk around 3 AM on Wednesday morning, July 28, when a vehicle struck her.

Winn was rushed to a local hospital, where she is being treated for a head injury and is now in stable condition. Witnesses who saw the pedestrian accident disagreed with each other regarding the color and make of the car, which left the scene of the accident. Police believe the vehicle could be a dark gray Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows; a blue or black four-door Honda; or a dark blue four-door Chrysler.

The hit-and-run accident is still under investigation. It is not clear whether alcohol played a part in the pedestrian accident. Anyone who has more information regarding the head injury accident should call the police immediately.
