What Happened

A single car accident on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia (VA) killed one person and injured a second.

The accident occurred on February 14, 2013 near First Landing Park in the 2500 block of Shore Drive. The car was completely destroyed and eye witnesses say they can’t believe anyone survived such a violent wreck.  The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in serious condition, while the passenger was declared dead on the scene. There was no alcohol involved in the crash but police have determined that speed was main factor.
