Two Die in DUI Crash in Glen Jean, West Virginia

A woman from Meadow Bridge, WV was hit with two counts of drunk driving causing death after she allegedly drove over the center line in Fayette County.

According to West Virginia State Police, the 21 year-old woman was driving her pickup truck and allegedly smashed into an SUV that killed the driver. The SUV spun sideways and smashed into another vehicle, which overturned, killing another driver.

The accident happened on WV Route 16 between Mount Hope and Glen Jean.

Did you know that more than 11,000 people die in drunk driving accident annually? We as personal injury attorneys in Virginia find this fact both appalling and infuriating. And that is why our personal injury lawyers make it a mission to punish convicted drunk drivers in civil court. If a drunk driver is convicted of injuring or killing an innocent person, we aggressively sue them in a personal injury lawsuit for compensatory and sometimes punitive damages.

Driving drunk has been proven to lead to much more dangerous risks behind the wheel. Drunk drivers are confused, have slow reflexes, impaired perception and judgment, and may even pass out behind the wheel.

If you have been injured or had a love one die due to a drunk driver, please reach out to an experienced personal injury attorney in your area today.
